INSPIRATION
HOPI - I first connected with the Hopi culture 16 years ago. It was a feeling of coming home - the colours, patterns, the spiritual expression make my soul sing.
PLAYFULLNESS - I love the innocence and the sense of humour. It's such a pure and quirky expression that transcends the ego.
ETHONOGRAPHY - the expression of indigenous people is so inspiring as it holds a deeper meaning, beyond function. The shapes, colours and wildness spark my creativity.
JAPAN - the aesthetics has been with me from childhood, growing up in a Japanese-inspired house designed by my architect father. I love the simplicity and gracefulness.
MALLORCA - I've had an old farmhouse in Mallorca for many years. There I connect with nature, light, and stillness. I love to sit on the rocks overlooking the sea and meditate.
